FELIZ NAVIDAD

Hola, queridos alumnos. Lo poco que nos conocemos ha sido suficiente para que, en mi corazón, se generen las más sublimes muestras de afecto. Los quiero, y porque los quiero les deseo una preciosa navidad y que la felicidad inunde sus vidas y las de sus familias.

El deleite de las lecturas

Hola, chicos. Se ha visto conveniente no publicar las tres lecturas siguientes por la cercanía de las fiestas navideñas. De esta forma su publicación se hará a más tardar el 26 de diciembre para que las claves sean entregadas a mi correo hasta el martes 30 de diciembre.

Reading Comprehension

Las tres primeras lecturas para los chicos de los Martes de 7 a 9 p.m., también para los estudiantes de los días sábados, de 10:30 a 12:30 p.m., y de 2:00 a 4:00 p.m.

My friend Peter

My friend's name is Peter. Peter is from Amsterdam, in Holland. He is Dutch. He is married and has two children. His wife, Jane, is American. She is from Boston in The United States. Her family is still in Boston, but she now works and lives with Peter in Milan. They speak English, Dutch, German and Italian! Their children are pupils at a local primary school. The children go to school with other children from all over the world. Flora, their daughter, has friends from France, Switzerland, Austria and Sweden. Hans, their son, goes to school with students from South Africa, Portugal, Spain and Canada. Of course, there are many children from Italy. Imagine, French, Swiss, Austrian, Swedish, South African, American, Italian, Spanish and Canadian children all learning together in Italy!

How they grow

How does a butterfly grow? It starts out as a tiny egg. It becomes a caterpillar. It eats lots of leaves. It grows and grows. Then it goes inside a cocoon. At last, it comes out. It’s a butterfly!
How does a frog grow? It starts out as a tiny egg in the water. The egg grows into a tadpole. It keeps changing. It eats tiny plants. It grows and grows. At last, it hops out of the pond. It’s a frog!
How does a flower grow? It starts out as a seed. Sun and rain help the seed grow. Roots grow into the ground. The plant grows and grows. At last, a bud opens. It’s a flower! Now you know how they grow!
